🎶 Join us for a spectacular evening as the World Music Institute and Flamenco Festival New York celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Festival with a grand performance dedicated to the remarkable flamenco guitarist, Agustín Castellón Campos, better known as Sabicas! This unforgettable tribute will take place at the iconic theater where Sabicas made history in 1959 by presenting the first solo flamenco guitar recital, changing the art form forever.

🕰️ The journey of Sabicas began in Pamplona in 1912, and after fleeing the Spanish Civil War in the early 1940s, he found a home in New York City. For four decades, he not only reshaped flamenco but also became a guiding light for numerous artists arriving in the U.S., turning his home into a vibrant hub and establishing New York as a cultural epicenter of flamenco.
