Step into the serene embrace of spring at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm and explore the season as it was cherished by 19th-century farm families—through words, memories, and imagination.

This immersive three-hour poetry workshop invites you to pause, listen, and write in a historic setting, inspired by candlelight, the early spring landscape, and the rhythms of farm life. Participants will engage with guided prompts, sensory objects, and tales from rural Pennsylvania history, crafting original poems rooted in personal reflection and place.

No prior writing experience is needed! Whether you are an experienced poet or a complete novice, this workshop is welcoming and designed to inspire and gently guide you in finding your voice.

Participants Will:

• 🌾 Explore the springtime experiences of a 19th-century farm
• 🎨 Use historical imagery, sounds, and objects to ignite creativity
• ✍️ Write original poetry with simple, supportive prompts
• 🤝 Share (if they wish) in an encouraging group atmosphere

All materials will be provided, and every participant will receive a Quiet Valley pencil, feather quill (with ballpoint pen), and a writer's journal.

Please dress warmly and bring along a lunch or light snack.
