Pleasley Pits and Silverhill

Join us for an approximate 9-mile off-road adventure through the beautiful landscapes of the Pleasley Pits and Silverhill country parks! 🌄

Starting at the Teversal Visitors Centre and Cafe, this circular route begins with a visit to the Pleasley Pits country park, where you'll get glimpses of the iconic headstocks. From there, meander along trails that wind through woodlands and arable fields, making your way into the serene Silverhill country park.

This section is tree-lined and elevated, providing stunning views of the surrounding countryside. 🏞️ Though surfaced pathways are available, expect some thrilling canter opportunities (weather and ground conditions permitting).

Important Details:

• Parking: Suitable for trailers and compact lorries; however, HGVs may find the entrance tight.
• Trail Conditions: Hardcore surfaced and may have stones.
• Expect to see cyclists, walkers with dogs, buggies, and off-road wheelchairs along the way.
• Some sections run along embankments without fences.
• Please be aware of the occasional unauthorized motorcycles.
• Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult rider on their first visit.
• All participants must have their own BHS Gold or equivalent Public Liability Insurance.
• Group size is limited to 6 + guide.
