Exhibition Opening Reception: "Unfurling the Flag: Reflections on American Patriotism"

🌟 Join us for the opening reception of the exhibition "Unfurling the Flag: Insights on American Patriotism" on Thursday, March 26 from 17:30 to 19:00 at Beinecke Library. 🎉

🇺🇸 As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, this exhibition delves into the intricate ideological and political dimensions of patriotism within the United States. It examines how notions of loyalty, allegiance, and national identity have evolved, often reinvented through national discourse, policies, protests, and conflict.

🖼️ Visitors will explore diverse perspectives on patriotism through a variety of historic documents, speeches, maps, photographs, drawings, and artifacts from the Yale Library collections.
