🌟 Join us for the second edition of DesignDesign, a collaborative space dedicated to exploring transformative, systemic, and future-oriented design practices!

This session delves into a critical question faced by many creatives:

How can we carve out space to navigate uncertainty, investigate alternatives, and innovate our design methods?

🔊 We kick off with a thought-provoking talk by Riccardo Torta, who will illuminate how design interacts with transitions and systemic transformation. Drawing insights from his research in the UnSee initiative at the Politecnico di Milano, he will introduce the idea of "Windows of Transformative Futures"—an experimental space for exploring and testing new concepts, habits, and lifestyles.

🛠️ Following the talk, we will transition into a facilitated workshop where you can apply these ideas. Working in small groups, we will examine various perspectives on shifting systems and discover how new ideas or technologies could reshape possibilities and positions.

👤 About Riccardo Torta: Riccardo (he/him), a Service & Systemic Designer + Researcher, has extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, employing reflexive and critical practices. His research focuses on the evolution of service design towards systemic and future-oriented perspectives. He has served as a design researcher at Politecnico di Milano, and is currently an external consultant for the UNDP Strategic Innovation unit.
