DAC Hay 'O Trail Senior & Junior races

🏃‍♂️🌾 The highly anticipated Hay’O’Trail is back, now featuring an exciting Junior Race! 🌾🏃‍♀️ Join the Derwent Athletic Club for a fantastic day in Cockermouth.

Event Highlights:

• Hay’O’Trail (Adult Race):

  • 📏 6km multi-terrain climb
  • 🌄 Breathtaking views of the Lake District & Solway
  • 👑 King & Queen of the Hay crowned for the first finishers to the summit (timed section for all participants!)
  • ⏱️ Fully chip-timed with live results available via timingupnorthresults.co.uk

• Hay’O’Trail Junior Races:

  • 👟 U14 & U16: 1.5km
  • 👟 U10 & U12: 1km
  • 🏅 Medals for all finishers
  • 🏆 Prizes for the 1st Male & Female in each age group, sponsored by Holmen

Registration Details:

• Location: Cockermouth School
• 🕠 Junior Registration: 17:30 – 18:00 | Race Starts: 18:15
• 🕕 Adult Registration: 18:00 – 18:45 | Race Starts: 19:00

Important Information:

• 🚗 Parking: Limited parking at the school – please consider car sharing, walking, or cycling. Street parking is available nearby, but please park responsibly.
• 📋 Minimum age for adult race: 15
• ❌ Course not suitable for wheelchairs
• 👟 Choose appropriate footwear for trail and mixed terrain.
• 🌬️ The highest point is exposed — dress according to weather conditions.
