Unleash your creativity as you learn to paint a stunning silk scarf using textile paints and simple tools! 🌈 Under the guidance of the talented Mary Kaiser, you'll explore a variety of painting techniques that highlight beautiful color effects and fluid designs directly on a silk scarf blank. After the demo, participants will have the chance to apply these techniques and craft their own unique scarves. Once completed, a household iron is all you need to set the colors permanently, transforming your creation into a wearable art piece!

Mary Kaiser is a multimedia textile artist with over thirty years of experience. Known for her richly layered works of art, she incorporates appliqué, paint, stitching, and is adept in book arts, natural dyeing, and printmaking.
