This event led to a remarkable legal inquiry where local mariners recounted their accounts in their own words, providing an astonishing glimpse into the lives of ordinary people in Suffolk 500 years ago.

✨ Funded by the British Academy, Dr. Tom Johnson, Matt Shenton, and Suffolk Archives have collaborated to revive these historical narratives through an innovative blend of performance, sound art, music, and a digital exhibition.
