👨‍🏫 About Your Guide: Andrew Dowdy
A passionate professional data scientist, Andrew also dedicates his time to wilderness search & rescue and emergency medical services. Originally from London, he relocated to Atlanta in 2020 to pursue his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Science at Georgia Tech, where he engaged in climate research.

🌱 Andrew started his journey with Trees Atlanta as a volunteer and later contributed as an intern and GIS contractor. Now serving as a Forest Steward, he leads restoration projects across various parks, including Proctor Creek Greenway, advocating for the critical role of trees in combating climate change.
