On Palm Sunday, the Frei Compagnie invites you to explore the historic Towton Battlefield with guided walks led by the Towton Battlefield Society. Get ready to meet knights clad in armor and witness skilled demonstrations of weaving, woodwork, and various medieval crafts.

🔍 Experience Living History:
The Frei Compagnie presents an engaging display featuring weapons, armor, medieval medicine, cooking, crafts, and civilian equipment. Step into the world of the 15th century and absorb the atmosphere of the Wars of the Roses and the monumental Battle of Towton in 1461.

• Free Entry to the Living History Camp
• Try your skills with Have-a-go Archery🎯
• Watch Western Medieval Martial Arts sword practice by KDF⚔️
• Dog-Friendly: Dogs on leads are warmly welcomed!

• 10:00 - Authentic camp opens
• 10:30 - Walk #1 begins
• 10:30 - 11:30 - Have-a-go archery
• 11:00 - 12:00 - KDF open training (Approx)
• 11:30 - Walk #2
• 12:00 - Commemoration
• 12:30 - Walk #3
• 1:00 - Combat display
• 1:30 - 3:00 - KDF open training (Approx)
• 2:00 - 3:00 - Have-a-go archery
• 3:30 - 4:30 - Pack up (Depending on the return time of Walk #3)
