We are thrilled to welcome the exceptionally talented nu-folk band Thimble for their debut performance! This event is your chance to say, “I saw their first show!” as they embark on an exciting journey in the evolving neo-prog folk/chamber doom scene of Brighton.

Experience a mesmerizing blend of jazzy psychedelia and eastern folk that Thimble has to offer. This ensemble brings together musicians from some of Brighton’s most intriguing bands, featuring a classically trained flute/saxophone player whose influences span the vast corners of life.

🎶 Special Guest:
We’re proud to present Artemisia Nathair, a Hellenic-Irish blackgaze harpist from Brighton. Her music intertwines elements of chamber-doom, neofolk, and black metal, with performances renowned for the tranquil yet powerful “calm before the storm.” She unique approach includes playing her harp with violin bows and channeling her emotions through her instrument, making for an unforgettable experience.

Hailing from the mystical town of Hastings, Artemisia draws inspiration from the folklore of her dual heritage, crafting lyrics that weave together Greek and Irish tales. Committed to her community, she donates all musical proceeds to local charities while actively volunteering with wildlife initiatives.
