Her founding of the Soul of a Woman event is inspired by the celebration of local female artists. Additionally, she serves as a choir director and music educator while preparing for the release of her debut album, Back To Basics.

Aisha Fukushima: An award-winning artist and global justice strategist whose work merges hip hop, activism, and art for social transformation. Based in Copenhagen, she has graced significant platforms like SXSW EDU and NCORE, sharing stages with notable figures such as Angela Davis and Bernie Sanders. Her recent album, “There’s a sky above the roof,” echoes a vital message of connection and collective thriving.
