Hosted by Oslo Kontaktimpro in partnership with the BodyCartography Project, this experience is designed to help you explore the depths of your body’s movement potential.

Day One: Inner Architectures 🏗️

We will kick off by awakening anatomical and physiological awareness, focusing on the structural support of your skeleton and fascia. Delve into the dimensional qualities and nutritional power of your organs through guided movements, touch, and mindfulness. Gain insights into the various textures and qualities your body can express!

Day Two: Developmental and Evolutionary Beings 🌱

Prepare for an exhilarating journey from the minutiae of cellular breathing to the exhilarating dynamics of group movement. Discover how individual inner activities can lead to expansive, collaborative expressions in space while aligning your inner wisdom with outward manifestations.

The workshop will utilize Contact Improvisation as our creative playground, grounded in physical laws such as mass, gravity, momentum, and inertia. Body-Mind Centering® provides a framework for research where movement, perception, and awareness intertwine.

About the Facilitators

Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad of the BodyCartography Project bring 27 years of experience, having created performances, films, and workshops across the globe. They have trained alongside notable educators in the field of Contact Improvisation and offer rich programs including Paxton’s Material for the Spine and ecosomatics.
