Ramblin’ Raft Race Revival 2026

🌊 Join us for the Return of a Beloved Tradition! 🎉

After 45 years, it’s time to bring back one of Atlanta’s most cherished celebrations! 🚣‍♂️ This epic float will kick off again on Saturday, May 23, 2026, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend!

📍 Start Location: Morgan Falls Overlook Park
Address: 200 Morgan Falls Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
📍 Finish Line: Powers Island Unit
Address: 5450 Interstate N Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Important Notes:

1. Safety First! Bring a life jacket and float responsibly.
2. Leave No Trace! Help us protect the river by not littering. 🗑️
3. Cheers, but Wisely! Alcohol is allowed but NO GLASS bottles. Let’s keep the fun for everyone!

Please remember, you are floating at your own risk. Keep the spirit of this event alive: no littering, no public nudity, and respect private properties.

🚌 Parking is limited, so we’re arranging shuttles. If you don’t score a spot, consider taking an Uber!
🕒 This float is about 6 miles long, taking around 3-6 hours depending on the river flow. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water! ☀️💧

We’re looking for sponsors and volunteers for river clean-up efforts. 🎶 There might even be live music along the banks!
Bring your creativity! Whether it’s store-bought floats or a custom-built raft, let’s make it as eccentric as possible! Just do a float test beforehand. 😄
