🎥 PUT YOUR SOUL ON YOUR HAND AND WALK delivers an intimate and direct insight into life in Gaza during an ongoing genocide. The film unfolds through a series of digital conversations between Farsi and young Palestinian photojournalist Fatma Hassona, evolving into a poignant testament of everyday struggle, grief, and resistance amidst rising violence. Tragically, Fatma was killed just one day after the film's selection at Cannes, enhancing the film's emotional weight.

✨ About the Filmmaker:
Sepideh Farsi experienced the Iranian revolution at age 13 and was imprisoned as a dissident at 16. Now residing in Paris, she has created numerous acclaimed works, including Tehran Without Authorization and Red Rose.

💬 Pre-screening Discussion:
Prior to the film, join Parvin Ardalan (journalist and writer) and Bisan Edwan (poet and writer) as they discuss the intersection of art and political activism, focusing on women's struggles. This conversation aims to contextualize the film and examine the experiences of Palestinian women both in their homeland and in diaspora.
