The Piano Day 2026 initiative, spearheaded by three international pianists Nadia Okrusko, Matt Choboter, and Margaux Oswald, invites you to partake in a global celebration of the piano on its symbolic 88th day of the year. This special day embodies the unique characteristics of the instrument with a series of captivating performances.

• 19:00 | Nadia Okrusko (LT/DK)
  A classical pianist known for her expressive touch, Nadia will present a selection of miniatures by Alexander Scriabin, connecting to her own musical heritage.
• 19:45 | Matt Choboter (CA/DK)
  Acclaimed for his ethereal sound narratives, Matt will deliver an immersive installation featuring a prepared piano and handcrafted microtonal zither, bringing his unique vision of sound to life. Learn more about him at mattchoboter.com.
• 20:30 | Marta Finkelštein (LT)
  An innovative performer and curator, Marta will showcase her program Between a Thousand Moons, which dives into Lithuanian musical miniatures across a century.
• 21:15 | Margaux Oswald (CH/DK)
  This versatile and dynamic performer will share her improvisational prowess, following the success of her debut album recognized as one of the best of 2022.
