Musical Louisiana 2026: Echoes of Innovation

🎶 Join us for Musical Louisiana 2026: America’s Cultural Heritage! This exceptional concert will honor 19th-century Creole composers and innovators. Curated by Alvin Jackson of Treme’s Petit Jazz Museum, the event will spotlight works by renowned names such as Barès, Lambert, Gottschalk, Dédé, Martin, and others.

🌍 Experience the rich connection between art and society as we showcase the interplay that exists through history. The acclaimed GRAMMY® Award–winning Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing alongside talented guest artists including Doreen Ketchens, OperaCréole, Oscar Rossignoli, and Geovane Santos, all conducted by Daniela Candillari.

🆓 Free admission! The concert will take place at St. Louis Cathedral with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 19:00.

📅 Prior to the concert, join us for an insightful pre-concert talk featuring Alvin Jackson at the Historic New Orleans Collection’s Williams Research Center (410 Chartres Street), starting at 18:00. Doors for the talk open at 17:30.
