Miki Berenyi, co-founder of the legendary band Lush, began her journey in the music industry in 1989. With notable EPs and LPs under the iconic 4AD label, Lush made waves with extensive touring, even alongside bands like Ride, Jane's Addiction, and headlining the 1992 Lollapalooza tour.
After a hiatus, Miki's passion was reignited with a Lush reunion tour in 2015-16 and the formation of her new band Piroshka. During the pandemic, she penned her memoir, Fingers Crossed, which received widespread acclaim.
Now, as the Miki Berenyi Trio, the band, featuring Kevin 'Moose' McKillop and Oliver Cherer, is crafting original songs alongside classics from Lush and Piroshka, gearing up to record a new album set for release in 2025.
