Mendelssohn - Elijah

Join us for a celebration of Mendelssohn's epic oratorio Elijah at the stunning Derby Cathedral on 14 mars 2026 at 19:30! 🎶

This concert commemorates the 180th anniversary of Elijah's debut, which took place in Birmingham. Featuring the distinguished baritone Marcus Farnsworth in the title role, and supported by the beautiful melodies of the Central England Camerata, all conducted by the talented Paul Provost.

Tickets are available starting at just £10, with £15 tickets that allow free entry for children under 16 when accompanied by an adult. 📅

For those on lower incomes, a limited number of side-aisle and balcony seats are available for £10. This effort is part of our initiative to make the arts more accessible to the people of Derby.
