🎉 MALMÖ BALLROOM SESSIONS IS BACK! 🎉
Kick off the new year with a fresh location and an exciting partnership! We are thrilled to join forces with TLQ Malmö as we relaunch our ballroom sessions after a short break.
Join us for the next session on Tuesday, 24 mars 19:00 - 21:00 at Ungdomens Hus, Sal 9, located at Norra Skolgatan 10, Malmö. Expect introductions, a mini workshop, and a fantastic atmosphere!

🏳️‍🌈 About the Sessions:

Led by the talented Scandinavian Godmother Angel Bodega from the Kiki house of Bodega, these sessions run every other Tuesday. Whether you’re a newcomer or experienced, all are welcome!
Embrace the rich history of ballroom and its pivotal figures while learning and practicing various ballroom categories. Each session includes a shorter class followed by a longer open training period where you can hone your skills. No prior experience is necessary—join us as you are!

FREE! No sign-up required, just come along! We encourage community members to consider becoming a member at TLQ Malmö.

🌟 What is Ballroom?

The underground ballroom scene originated in the 1920s Harlem, NYC, crafted by Black and Latin trans women and drags seeking a safe haven from systemic racism. Over time, it blossomed into a vibrant community for all queer individuals of color, fostering self-expression and creativity absent from mainstream society. Houses exist as familial units within ballroom, competing together and supporting one another.
