Lula's 1st Chili Cook-off

Join us for a flavorful celebration at Lula's very first Chili Cook-off, part of the Sesquicentennial festivities! 🎉 Experience delicious chili, family fun, and community spirit on February 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lula Depot.

Event Highlights:

• Chili Cook Entry: Cooks pay a $25 entry fee, bringing at least 2 gallons of their best chili!
• Categories: Compete for awards including Community Choice (voted by attendees) and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, decided by our special guest judges.
• Tasting Tickets: Attendees can sample all chilis for a suggested donation of $5, which includes one drink; more refreshments will be available for purchase.
• Free Kids’ Zone: Enjoy engaging activities and historical displays for the whole family!

All proceeds benefit the Lula Development Authority, Lula Ladies, and the Historical Society of Lula Bellton.
