On April 11th, 2026, we are thrilled to welcome the world-renowned musician and leader of transcendental kirtan gatherings, Krishna Das, back to Oslo. 🎶
Known as the “Chant Master of American Yoga” by the NY Times, Krishna Das captivates audiences with his gift for lifting everyone into a unified voice through the sacred practice of kirtan. His concerts harmoniously blend Eastern mantras with modern melodies, making spirituality accessible to all.
With collaborations alongside icons like Sting and Rick Rubin, as well as a Grammy nomination, Krishna Das has made a significant impact in the world of music and devotion.
Having traveled extensively with his guru, Ram Dass, and journeying to India in 1970, Krishna Das met the revered Neem Karoli Baba, known affectionately as Maharaj-ji. He now shares his kirtan practice and inspiring life stories globally, fostering love and connection through song. ❤️
As a special addition to the evening, Arjun Bruggeman, who accompanies Krishna Das on the tabla, will open the night with an immersive sound journey filled with rhythm and mantra.
