🌟 METHERA – A Special English Ensemble 🌟
Methera is a distinctive string quartet deeply rooted in English folk music. Featuring Swedish-English Emma Reid (violin) alongside English musicians Lucy Elkiss (cello), Grace Smith (violin), and Miranda Rutter (viola), their passion resonates within the rich soundscape of chamber music. The melodies are both sophisticated and down-to-earth, captivating and profound.

After the concert, join us for a dance night with Methera and the house band Orkester Papillon, featuring a mix of Ceilidh (social dance from the British Isles), Balfolk (European folk dance), and Swedish folk dance.
💰 Donation at the door (recommended 200 SEK/person). All proceeds go directly to the guest artists. If finances are tight, we encourage you to participate in culture—pay what you can. If you're feeling generous, additional donations are warmly welcomed!

🎵 Workshop in English Folk Music with Methera. All instruments are welcome! We'll focus on melody playing, exploring rhythm, interaction, and arrangements. Opportunities for smaller group sessions based on needs will be available.
