Join us for a fantastic day of hiking through the scenic Surrey countryside! 🌳✨ On Saturday, 5 September 2026, embark on a memorable point-to-point hike featuring stunning views and plenty of photographic opportunities. We'll traverse the picturesque Polesden Lacey estate, tackle the North Downs escarpment, wander through historic woodlands, before concluding our journey near England’s largest vineyard.

• Distance: 15.2 km (9.4 miles)
• Difficulty: 4/10
• Total Ascent: 280 m

Meeting & Timings:

• Meeting Point: London Waterloo Station
• Meeting Time: 8:30 AM
• Start Walking: 9:45 AM from Effingham Junction
• Finish: Box Hill & Westhumble Station
• Estimated Return to London: around 7:30 PM
• Total Day Duration: at least 10 hours (including trains, stops, and meals)

Important Transport Note:

We’ll travel together round trip from the meeting point. If you plan to return separately or need to disembark at an alternate station, please ensure you purchase your own ticket in advance.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking footwear (boots recommended)
• Waterproof jacket and trousers (recommended)
• Water (at least 1 litre, ideally 2)
