Prepare to embark on an 800-mile adventure that stretches from the Mexico border to the Utah state line, traversing the diverse landscapes of Arizona. Discover deserts, mountains, forests, canyons, and rich historical sites as we journey through:

• The Sonoran Desert
• The Superstition Mountains
• The Mazatzal Wilderness
• Grand Canyon's rugged terrain
• North Rim conifer forests of the Kaibab Plateau

🌦 Andy will share his firsthand experiences dealing with the elements—sun, rain, snow, and even trail challenges—during his completion of this incredible thru-hike in the spring of 2023.

About the Presenter

Andy "Captain Blue" Niekamp is a seasoned adventurer with over 30 years of experience. Having hiked more than 35,000 miles in the last two decades, he has traversed notable trails, including five full hikes on the Appalachian Trail and countless miles on the Camino de Santiago. As the Chief Adventure Officer of Outdoor Adventure Connection, Andy is passionate about guiding and promoting hiking as an enriching experience.
