Join us for a unique artistic experience as two audiences in different continents come together in their respective theatres at the exact same time! 🌍✨ In this innovative performance, all that fills the theatres are digital projections that allow the participants to see one another despite the distance.

Crying by the Sea - البكاء على حافة البحر delves into the depths of sorrow tied to socio-economic migration, expressed through poetic texts that explore themes of distance, loss, borders, and longing. In this immersive experience, audience members will receive a script and be invited to read aloud a text regarding border crossings — both physical and metaphysical — alongside fellow attendees in El kef, Tunisia, where readings will occur in Danish, English, and Arabic. 🗣️📖

After the reading, you will have a chance to rewrite the script to deliver a fresh interpretation for the next audience! This unique performance stems from workshops conducted in Denmark and Tunisia, fostering collective processing of grief and allowing for new connections and moments to unfold within the theatrical space. 💔🤝

This innovative live stream has been crafted by the artistic team to cultivate self-organized online infrastructures for digital artistic meetings.
