🌍 As part of the PhD program in artistic research, this concert represents the culmination of a three-year exploration into the fascinating world of field recording within electronic music.

For the past few years, Giuseppe has delved into how field recordings influence sound studies and collaborative creative practices. This inquiry has led to a diverse array of works that reflect various approaches and theories in this captivating discipline.

🎵 What to Expect:
During the concert, Giuseppe will showcase four distinctive pieces:

• Two from his series “Anecdotes,” which features field recordings that fuel autoethnographic explorations. These works highlight the artist's evolving relationship with the environment and are designed as diptychs, where each piece pairs with an accompanying essay.
• Two collaborative pieces with the trio totaleee (Giuseppe Pisano-Riise, Paolo Montella, Andrea Laudante), focusing on acousmatic composition and immersive audio experiences. This collaboration aims to spark local interest in spatial audio practices in Napoli.

🛠️ Additionally, don't miss the installation of the self-built portable loudspeaker system, VOLTA, designed to present immersive audio pieces.
