Genealogical Research Room

Join our dedicated volunteers, Sylvia and Rebecca, as they assist you in exploring your Montour County family history! 📜✨ Whether you’re a member of MCHS or not, everyone is welcome to utilize the Genealogy Room.

• Cost:
  • $2 per hour for self-research in the room.
  • $5 per hour for volunteer-assisted research.
  • Copies available for just 25¢ each.

Please note that any payments for volunteer research are required upfront before the results are sent.
