We're excited to introduce The Hall Monitors, a talented ensemble of New England jazz musicians, united by their passion for performing, composing, and teaching.
Meet the Band:

• Steven Bulmer - Bass
• Nathan Edwards - Saxes
• Matt Parker - Sax/Flute
• Jen Allen - Piano
• Ben Bilello - Drums

These exceptional musicians are not only jazz coaches at the prestigious Hall High School in West Hartford, CT, but they also teach at various colleges and universities across the region. The group performs a delightful mix of jazz styles, including bop, hard bop, and contemporary jazz, showcasing innovative originals alongside unique interpretations of classic jazz songs.

The band’s journey began at Hall High School's Jazz Combos event at the iconic Black Eyed Sally's. Their chemistry was undeniable, and Matt Parker's electrifying composition, Mr. Hall, left the audience mesmerized! In May 2023, they officially launched at the Blue Room in CitySpace, Easthampton, MA during Carol’s Jazz Night concert, performing 11 tunes, including 5 originals. After a fun naming journey, they proudly became The Hall Monitors.
