The term, rooted in Proto–Indo-European language, originally symbolized 'woman' without bias but has transformed over centuries into a symbol of negative connotations in Iranian culture.
With rich explorations in Zoroastrianism, Jahī morphed from a neutral descriptor to a demoness embodying danger and disruption. As an artist raised within a patriarchal society, Saba invites you to witness her reimagining of Jahī. Her work reflects a powerful declaration of personal justice and defiance—a reclaiming of narrative that aims to evoke deep emotions and provoke thought.
