Join Meg Nichols (she/her) from Community Death Care on Wednesday, March 18th, from 18:00 to 20:00 at Front Street Coffeehouse located at 20 Front St, Salem, MA 01970.

Enjoy complimentary tea and treats as we gather to share and discuss our experiences surrounding death and grief. The Death Cafe offers a welcoming space for open conversation, devoid of an agenda or specific themes. Please note: this is a discussion group, not a grief support or counseling session.

Meg Nichols (she/her), a Salem-based artist and trained Death Doula, is the owner of Painted Lady Sign Co. and a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer. Meg is dedicated to death care education, advocacy, and breaking the stigma surrounding talks of this natural part of life. She founded Community Death Care in January 2025 to provide compassionate support and guidance for end-of-life planning and education.
