🌟 Join Us for a Weekly Drop-in Class in Contact Improvisation! 🌟
Expand your body awareness through a 2.5-hour journey of guided technical exercises and BodyMind (Somatic) practices in Contact Improvisation (CI) every week of the year!
Under the guidance of rotating teachers, you will explore:

• The use of breath, weight, and skeletal alignment to enhance your movement
• Navigating points of contact, lifting, and sharing weight safely
• Embracing the unknown and tuning into the subtle impulses of the present moment
• Philosophical and relational aspects of CI

This class welcomes everyone from beginners to seasoned dancers—adapt the exercises to suit your experience level! With each new instructor, you’ll receive a heads-up about their focus, ensuring you can make the most out of every four-week block. Lessons are taught in either English or Swedish, based on the instructor and students' needs.

💃 What is Contact Improvisation?
Originating in the 1970s by Steve Paxton and fellow dancers in the US, CI blends martial arts, Zen meditation, and post-modern dance to create dynamic movement through gravity and connection.

💰 Cost:

• Single class: 250kr
• 5-class clip card: 1000kr
• 10-class clip card: 1500kr

Every Monday from 18:00 - 20:30 (Classes run from January 19 to June 15)
