About the Artist:

Christian McBride is an acclaimed eight-time GRAMMY-winning bassist, composer, and bandleader. He holds prestigious positions including Artistic Director of the Newport Jazz Festival and is a passionate advocate for youth education in jazz. McBride's versatility spans across genres from jazz and R&B to classical and hip-hop. 🎸✨

In Ursa Major, he collaborates with talented rising stars such as saxophonist Nicole Glover, guitarist Ely Perlman, pianist Mike King, and drummer Savannah Harris.
