Brookfield Film Festival 2026

Join us for the 18th Annual Brookfield Film Festival! Every year, local residents, filmmakers, screenwriters, musicians, actors, and film enthusiasts from across Connecticut gather for this celebration of independent cinema.

This year, we're transforming the historic Brookfield Theatre into a vibrant hub of creativity, showcasing the talents of emerging filmmakers and artists. 🎥🎶

• Where: 30 Silvermine Mnr, Brookfield, CT 06804, United States
• Submission Deadline: February 26, 2026

We're accepting submissions for:

• Short Films (max 20 minutes)
• Screenplays
• Music Videos

Submission Guidelines:

• Filmmakers, actors, and musicians living in Connecticut or bordering states can submit.
• Entries can be new or old, and multiple submissions are welcome (separate entry form and fee required for each).
• Submit your entries via FilmFreeway.com/BrookfieldFilmFestival

All proceeds from the festival support the Brookfield Arts Commission Arts Scholarship Award, which benefits high school graduates from Brookfield pursuing a degree in the arts.
