The 55KM route meanders along the picturesque River Tyne before crossing at Wylam and returning via Derwenthaugh Marina, taking a turn along the River Derwent into Chopwell Woods, and finally heading back along the Derwent Walk to meet the River Tyne once more. The thrilling final stretch takes you along the river back to the finish line at the Newcastle Quayside.
