Join us for a captivating musical journey back to the 1920s and 1930s, as Beareather Reddy and her talented band pay tribute to the powerful Black female singers who broke barriers and expressed their truths through music. These pioneering women were at the forefront of the Black feminist movement, passionately addressing themes like sexual freedom, domestic violence, and economic inequality.

Among these legends, Bessie Smith, known as the "Empress of the Blues," stood out as the highest-paid and most popular artist of her time.
