Led by Grammy-winning musicians Balla Kouyaté (balafon, vocals) and Mike Block (cello, vocals), Djékady is a six-piece band that beautifully merges Malian and American musical traditions. The band features the incredible talents of Mamoudou Konate (djembe), Idrissa Koné (talking drum, calabash, percussion, vocals), Luke Okerlund (guitar), and Mike Rivard (bass, sintir).
