🎤 About Ara Dinkjian:

Ara Dinkjian, born in America in 1958 to Armenian heritage, has been influencing the music scene for over four decades. His journey began by accompanying his father, the esteemed Onnik Dinkjian, a renowned folk and liturgical singer.

Ara’s musical prowess extends beyond the oud; he is skilled in multiple instruments such as piano, guitar, dumbeg, and clarinet. He graduated from Hartt College of Music in 1980, earning the only special degree in oud performance in the United States.

For more than 40 years, Ara has served as an organist in the Armenian Apostolic Church, cultivating a unique compositional style that weaves together Eastern and Western influences. In 1985, he formed the instrumental quartet Night Ark, producing influential music that resonated globally.
