Alsop Conducts Adams, Copland & Marsalis

Join us for an unforgettable musical journey as jazz, blues, and orchestral melodies unite in a vibrant tribute to American artistry! 🎺✨ The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, led by the esteemed Marin Alsop, collaborates with the renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to present Wynton Marsalis's latest symphonic masterpiece, Liberty (Symphony No. 5).

The evening opens with a newly commissioned work by the legendary John Adams, followed by Copland’s iconic Appalachian Spring, which beautifully encapsulates the pioneering spirit of America, featuring the beloved Shaker hymn, Simple Gifts.
