2026 Houtzdale Days 5k Run/Walk & Fireman’s Challenge

Exciting News: We've Enlisted a Timing Company This Year! ⏱️ Say goodbye to the long wait for manually entered results! We’re thrilled to introduce quicker finish line processes using www.elitefeats.com for registration and timing!

Join us for the Houtzdale Days 5K Walk/Run and Fireman’s Challenge, an eagerly awaited event during our annual Houtzdale Days celebration! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
Participants can earn medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both Male and Female categories.

Important Updates:

• The revised course now measures 3.25 miles, making it more accessible for runners and walkers alike!
• The Fireman’s Challenge invites participants to wear a complete set of fire gear (pants, coat, boots, and helmet) during the race. No gear bags allowed! 🎖️ Winners of this challenge (Male and Female) will receive a plaque and will each designate a $250 donation to their chosen emergency service (Fire or EMS).

• Costs:
  • $25 for regular participants
  • $20 for the Fireman's Challenge
  • $20 if registering 10 or more at once
