During this immersive weekend course, we'll guide you through the essentials of Lambada — from basic steps and turns to the signature body movements that bring this dance to life. Absolutely no prior experience is required! This course also serves as a fantastic introduction if you're planning to join our larger event featuring special guest instructors Lydia & Matheus at the end of March. (More details below!)

💛 What is Lambada?
Originating from Brazil's Pará state in the late 1970s and 1980s, Lambada emerged from a rich blend of Brazilian rhythms and Caribbean influences like merengue and carimbó. It stole the global spotlight in 1989 with the hit song Lambada by Kaoma.
Today, Lambada thrives in festivals and dance congresses worldwide, enjoying a revival thanks to inspiring couples like Ariel & Leticia, Sara & Otavio, and indeed, Lydia & Matheus! The dance is characterized by smooth circular movements, fluidity, and an infectious sense of alegria — pure joy!
Step into this vibrant world, filled with Brazilian rhythms, connection, laughter, and inspiration!

As Stockholm's oldest dance school specializing in Lambada Zouk since 2008, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality instruction and solid foundations in technique and musicality.
We’re the proud founders of the beloved summer Zouk evenings at Vasaparken and were the first Swedish school to participate in international Brazilian dance congresses such as London Zoukfest (2018, 2019) and Brazilian Dance Holidays in Spain (2019).
In 2023, we made history by launching Sweden’s inaugural Lambada Festival, welcoming esteemed international instructors for workshops and unforgettable social dance nights.
